The last show at the Comedy, TN -Sycamore View location was Feb 28th. The economy caught up with us and the bailout never appeared.

Starting in June, Big Funny Productions (John and Sammy) will be doing fewer but bigger shows at the new Minglewood Hall, an 1100 seat Concert Hall in midtown. (They can curtain it off for 500ppl) Stay tuned.

Big Funny Productions will also be doing Thursday nights at Neil’s on Madison Ave (starting late March) which will consist of Open Mic night, Best of Memphis shows, the Wise Guys Improv group, and in May and June we’ll have the fourth annual Funniest Person in Memphis Contest. We also plan to do periodic fri/sat shows at Neil's with Doug Stanhope, TR Degras, Mo Alexander, Kerry White, Beth Donahue and other great comedians.

Big Funny Productions that booked and produced the shows at Comedy, TN will continue to bring the Big Funny to Memphis. This website will have all the updates for now. A new site is coming. Our newsletter will still be weekly with updates.

Big Funny Productions will still be doing Comedy for a Cause shows at Minglewood Hall. So if you work with a charity and want us to help you raise money, let us know.

We'll still have sponsors in our new model of how we bring the Big Funny.

We want to thank our partners in Comedy, TN as it has been a great ride at this venue. We want to thank everybody who supported us in our shows here. A huge thanks goes out to our sponsors. A huge thanks goes out to all of the comedians that did shows on the Comedy, TN stage.

Comedy, TN's ride has ended. May God bless Comedy, TN. ....Nonetheless, Comedy will live in Memphis as it always has, so calm down.
