Jer-Dog

Born and raised in the not-so-booming metropolis of Colfax, Iowa, "The Mighty"  Jer-Dog is the product of a rural upbringing, a dysfunctional family, and excessive partying. After being kicked out of college and fired  from over twenty "real" jobs, Jer-Dog had two choices- become a comedian or live in a beat-up car.  As it turns out, there's really no difference.

At age 19, Jer-Dog graced the stage as a stand-up comic for the first time and has since developed an edgy, high-energy, improvisational act heavily influenced by legends like Cosby, Dangerfield, Pryor, and Cheech & Chong.    Although forever a teenager at heart, this 30-year-old dedicated husband and father derives a bulk of  his material from his wife and son, with whom he lives in Chicago, Illinois.

An animated, charismatic, and versatile performer, Jer-Dog has been described as "cleverly sophomoric" with "the unique ability to make a senior citizen laugh at a dirty joke."

While his stand-out bits like "Gangsta From Iowa" and "The Sarcastic Retarded Monkey Voice" are recognized as crowd favorites, Jer-Dog goes on to deliver razor-sharp one-liners, insanely funny stories, and opinionated rants on everything from utility companies to customer service to the war on drugs.

Jer-Dog performs close to 200 nights a year on the road, headlining theatres, comedy clubs, and casinos nation-wide.

Jer-Dog has performed in virtually every kind of venue known to man and can tailor his act for any kind of audience, in any kind of situation.  It doesn't matter how wild or laid back the crowd is, Jer-Dog can fit  right in and deliver the laughs.

He's produced three comedy CD's and a comedy special available on DVD. He's also been heard on radio's "Bob and Tom Show" and  will soon be appearing in "Road Dogs" ...an upcoming documentary about stand-up comedy  from DiscoMoon Productions.

Don't miss your opportunity to take a demented, yet hilarious trip through Jer-Dog Land!
