Dominic Dierkes

Dominic started performing comedy at the age of fifteen at an open mike night, landed his first paying gig at age sixteen, and five years later, he's still going strong. His love for stand-up and dedication to his craft has helped him to stand out from other comedians with his fresh, energetic stage presence. By age 20, Dominic has performed everywhere from the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles to the Comic Strip Live in New York City.

Being a college student with five years stand-up experience under his belt, Dominic's show relates resoundingly well with the college market as evidence by the fact that more and more colleges are requesting him and he was recently profiled in Campus Activities Magazine as a great deal for under $2000 to bring to your university. Dominic can also be seen performing regularly at all the major clubs in New York where he now resides.

Dominic can also be seen performing longform improvisation and sketch comedy throughout New York City as part of his sketch comedy troupe the Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz who are currently enjoying a run at the presitigious Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. As a founding member, Dominic serves as a repertory player, writing staff member, and film director for this troupe whose cult following packs the UCB Theatre every Wednesday at 9:30 pm to see their show "Reading is for Dicks".

Dominic has also trained extensively with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in their acclaimed school of longform improvisation. He can been performing regularly at the theater from hosting Harold Night to performing in Liquid Courage. Dominic is in rehearsal now to play in the fully improvised show "Sleep Over" show which will run at the UCB Theatre every Tuesday in July at 11 pm.
