Joe Dunckel

In 1979 Joe opened one of the first comedy clubs outside the L.A., N.Y.,Chicago, areas. He opened clubs in Lansing, Mi. (The Wit's End) and Grand Rapids, Mi. (The Comedy Den ) He then went on to Produce, Direct and Perform in the "We Can Make You Laugh" and "Krack Me Up" National Touring Comedy Game Shows. (These show performed at over 700 colleges and universities and were nominated "College Entertainers of the Year" by "NACA" 3 years in a row.)

He was a contributing Writer/photographer for"Stand Up Comedy" magazine

He has had repeat performances at over 125 Comedy Clubs, (Funny Bone, Hiliarties, Connxtions,Barrel of Laughs, Chaplin's, Joey's, etc...)

Corporate shows include Ford Motor Co. National Assoc of Letter Carriers, Magic Johnson Corp, Detroit Lions, Chicago Area Chiefs of Police, Battle Creek Hot Air Balloon Festival, and many more...

He has a B.S. Degree in Drama from E.M.U. and has acted with Nashville Theatre Academy, National Shakespeare, Boarshead, and Great Globe of the S.W.

He has been seen on P.M. Magazine, and Health Central Commericals (seen in the Mid-west)and was the winner of an "Addy Award"

He has open for Gary Shandling, Louie Anderson, Gallagher, Frankie Vallie and 4 seasons, The Temptations, Ten Thousand Maniacs.
