Comedians

Keith Alberstadt

Keith has been performing comedy in some fashion since as long as he can remember: cracking jokes with classmates, playing pranks on co-workers, and entertaining family members even after "graduating" from the Thanksgiving kiddy table at age 23. As for the stage, well he first got a taste of that when he co-hosted the talent show at his high school in 1991. He enjoyed the lights, the microphone, the attention.

Once in college at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, he nourished his comedic desires by becoming a DJ for the campus radio station (WRVU) and a humor columnist for the school newspaper (The Hustler). Yes, it was called The Hustler. Come to think of it, there may have been some confusion on Keith's part when he volunteered to write for them. Looking for another outlet to be heard, he even served for two years on the Vanderbilt Radio Network as the sideline reporter during football games.

Through the years, Keith spent countless nights working open mic rooms and showcasing at regional clubs. He has progressed to become a favorite comedian in Nashville, but his easy-going, clever humor hits home with people everywhere. He has performed with comics and bands alike, tapping the funny bone of anyone who listens... metaphorically speaking, of course. Tapping the actual "funny bone", aka the humerus, hurts like shit.

Keith loves to share his ideas and stories. His friendly nature and witty disposition combine to form a likable "buddy" who connects with the audience.

Keith is currently working as a feature act throughout the country, performing with current big names as well as several rising stars. He also performs regularly with the Nashville improvisational comedy troupe The Skeleton Crew.
