Dawna Kinne
Dawna Kinne has been performing her off beat brand comedy for many years now. She started her stand up career in Alaska. Spent a few years in New York working on her craft and then moved to Nashville where she was named Nashville's Funniest Person her second week there. She was also noted in The Nashville Scene's Best of Nashville 2002 as the Best Stand Up Comic. Recently, she won the Carnival Comedy Challenge in Nashville. Dawna has appeared at clubs in the US and Canada for 13 years including such places as: Gotham Comedy Club, Catch a Rising Star, Caroline's on Broadway, Zanies Comedy Showplace, Underground Comedy Club, The Comedy Nest, Montreal. She has appeared on "She's So Funny" the WTN Television show taped at Yuk Yuk's in Toronto Canada. While in New York she had the distinct pleasure of following Jerry Seinfeld on stage at Gotham one evening while he was recording the movie Comedienne. She's worked with a broad number of comics including, Christopher Titus, John Pinette, Lewis Black, Reno Collier, Jake Johanssen, just to name a few.
She's a regular at Zanies Comedy Showplace in Nashville and has participated in numerous comedy festivals including Bud Light Ladies of Laughter, New Orleans Comedy Festival, Miller Lite Ladies of Laughter, Boston Comedy & Movie Festival.
